At Duty First Walleye Charters, we believe that "Duty First" isn't just a name—it’s the standard we live by. Based on the world-class waters of Lake Erie, we offer premier angling experiences fueled by discipline, passion, and a deep respect for those who serve.
Depending on the species you’re after, you may find yourself spinning, trolling, drifting, jigging, or bottom bouncing.
Cast off in style on our 30' Pro-Line Mid-Cabin Walkaround. Boasting nearly an 11' width, this boat offers plenty of elbow room for a group of six to reel in the big ones. From high-end fishing amenities to a private on-board restroom, we provide everything you need for a comfortable, successful day at sea.
Join Capt. Christopher for your premier fishing experience. All tackle and lures are provided. Live bait is available depending on season and availability. We are proudly family-friendly and prioritize a clean, safe, and professional environment for all ages. Top-tier gear and expert service guaranteed.
A First Mate will be there to make sure everything is running smoothly. It's customary to tip the Mate 20-25% to show your appreciation.
You will need to purchase a local fishing license before the trip. It's never a bad idea to bring sunglasses, sunblock (non-spray), and bottled water. Complimentary snacks and non-alcoholic refreshments are provided free of charge. Alcohol (BYOB) is allowed in moderation, just be sure to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
We aren't just another charter; we are a 100% veteran-owned and operated business. After years of dedicated service to our country, we’ve traded the uniform for the rod and reel, bringing that same mission-focused mindset to the "Walleye Capital of the World."
• Veteran Centric: We take immense pride in hosting fellow veterans and active-duty members, providing a space where you can relax, reconnect, and enjoy the camaraderie of the water.
Tight lines. Hard work. Duty First.

We got on perch quick. Made a few moves around to find better sized fish. Was a comfortable boat with lots of room to move around.

Following eight years of service to our country, I've traded my uniform for the great outdoors. There is a unique peace found on the water, and I feel truly fortunate to share the passion and craft of fishing with others.
