On the day of your trip, you're likely to troll and bottom fish using heavy tackle.
If you're traveling with the family, you'll be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! Be sure to ask if child-sized life jackets are available; otherwise, you should bring your own. And you can't go wrong with snacks to keep everyone happy and energized!
Your fishing machine for the day is a 35' panga that can accommodate up to 8 passengers. It has outriggers, a fighting chair, and all the essentials a fishing boat needs. There's also a toilet on board for your convenience.
Capt. Brian Yosamir has rods and reels for you, as well as lures. Live bait is available, but you should ask the captain whether you'll be catching it yourself.
Trips are run with the help of a First Mate. It's customary to tip the Mate 10–20% to show your appreciation.
The charter boat covers your fishing license, so you can simply arrive and come aboard without any hassle! Keep in mind that some fish may have harvest limits or closed seasons. Your captain will help you follow all regulations while you fish.
Don't forget to bring sunglasses, bottled water, and sunscreen (non-spray). There will be some drinks available, but let the captain know if you wish to bring your own. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but try to avoid hard liquor and glass bottles. Food and light snacks will also be included on board.
