April Housatonic River Pike Trips – Massachusetts Adventure
With Pike season closed in New York during April, Aarons Guide Service takes you just across the border to the Housatonic River in Pittsfield, Massachusetts, where a true pike paradise awaits.
This stretch of river is loaded with aggressive Northern Pike, especially in the spring when they're feeding heavily after the spawn. We target quiet backwaters, flooded timber, and shallow bays where big fish move in — creating some of the most exciting and action-packed Pike fishing of the year.
We fish from a specialized river boat that allows us to navigate tight areas and cover water efficiently, putting you in the best possible position to find and catch fish. These trips are fast-paced, hands-on, and perfect for anglers who want a unique change of scenery from the lake.
This is one of the most unique trips we offer and a personal favorite of Captain Aaron's. It's a great opportunity to experience a different fishery, explore new water, and chase big Pike in a setting you won't find back home.
Join us throughout the month of April for a one-of-a-kind Adirondack-style adventure just over the Massachusetts border.
Please note: Due to the size of the river boat, trips are limited to a maximum of 3 guests.
