Hello my name is Sam Carson Captain of Skiff Tales Charters I am born and raised in the Florida Keys with over 25 years of fishing experience. Whether you are looking to fish in Islamorada or the backcountry to the waters of Biscayne Bay we have you got you covered!
We will be fishing on my 16’ Dolphin Super Skiff, perfect for shallow water and backcountry flats fishing. Majority of our fishing will be sight casting.
The type of fish we will be targeting will be Snook, Redfish, Tarpon, Mangrove Snapper, Bonefish, Permit, Speckled Trout and more.
All rods and gear are included in your trip as well as the fishing license. We will be using live bait certain times of the year dependent on the species you are targeting.
Don't leave home without sunscreen (non-spray), a hat, bottled water, and sunglasses and some snacks so you don't find yourself uncomfortable on your trip.

Weather was rough. Captain William made sure I was aware of what I was getting into. We were very limited in dishing locations because of the weather. Still managed to catch and keep 3 mangrove snapper. Caught several grunts and baracuda, with another handful of mangrove snappers that were just undersized to keep. Fun day on the water.

Had a great day. Captain William is very knowledgable and experienced and took us to great spots. We caught a lot of fish and was a beautiful day on the water and had some beautiful views along the way. Captain William is also a great guy and took care of us. This is your guy you should book!

captain Sam was amazing! he put me in fish all morning. picked me yo at The Bungalows, caught bait and then caught fish! the snook were elusive, but caught Jack and Mangrove snapper! fun times! i would recommend this trip!

Captain Sam took my son and I out fishing in the back country. We had such a blast and caught a lot of fish. Captain Sam taught him all about the back country, the fish we caught and about fishing.

Sams local experience is evident in the 30 miles we covered. Fish were slow but Sam kept me out there looking. Great trip in the backcountry where there were no boats!
