Calloway's Guide Service welcomes you to the stunning waters of Soldotna.

These waters are known for Pink Salmon, Chinook Salmon, Coho Salmon, Sockeye Salmon, Rainbow Trout (Steelhead), Dolly Varden, and more – with any luck, it won't be long before 'Fish on!'

During the trip you might be spinning, trolling, drifting, jigging, or maybe something more specialized in this area. Capt. River also offers fly fishing.

Young ones are welcome, so feel free to make a family day out of it! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise you should bring your own. And, you can't go wrong with snacks for a boost of energy when needed!

Your day begins aboard a 20' Drift boat or power boat that can carry up to 5 passengers. It has everything you need for a productive day on the water.

Rods, reels, waders, and tackle are ready for you, along with lures.

Before coming aboard, it may be required to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species may be off limits or require a special tag, so make sure you know what to expect.

Don't leave home without sunscreen (non-spray), a hat, bottled water, and sunglasses. If you'd like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but you should avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
