There's no guarantee when you're fishing, but the odds are defiantly in your favor with Rod and Pan Guide Service. Some of the species you can catch around here include Walleye, Bluegill, Striped Bass, Yellow Bass, Fresh water Drum, Cat Fish, Largemouth Bass, and more with any luck.

On these trips, it’s common to jig fish with live bait as well as troll all using light tackle.

Rod and Pan Guide Service is a child-friendly charter service, so get 'em offline and onto the water! Children under 12 must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. And, you can't go wrong with snacks for a boost of energy when needed!

You'll be welcome aboard a 21' Aluminum fishing with capacity for 5 passengers ( call for larger groups). It has all the essentials.

Capt. Joe will provide rods, reel and all the bait.

All customers 16 and over are required to have a valid Illinois Fishing License prior to us leaving the dock. One day licenses up to annual can be purchased on the Illinois DNR website.
A few items to bring include sunscreen (non-spray), a hat and sunglasses. Drinks (water and gatorade) will be available for you onboard. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just be sure to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
