Sparky Outfitters- Sockeye trips
From baker lake to Lake Wenatchee Sockeye and Having logged many hours on these lakes, Captain Isaiah can tell you all about the local fishery. Baker Lake sockeye for the season of 2026 opens July 11 with a 4 fish limit and he will be up there through the month of July. Then transitioning to Lake Wenatchee through the month of August!
Sockeye salmon is the targeted species.
On the day of your trip you're likely to troll using light tackle.
Capt. Isaiah will bring you aboard a 22' Aluminum fishing boat with room for 4 passengers. It comes with downriggers, everything you need for a productive day on the water.
You'll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, as well as lures.
Before coming aboard, it is required to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect.
Don't forget to bring bottled water, sunglasses, and sunscreen (non-spray). If you'd like to bring other drinks, feel free to! Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just be sure to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
