FISH | LOBSTER KEYWEST 

Make an adventure out of your next trip in Key West and go fishing with Fish KeyWest. Having logged many hours on these tides, Captain Johnathan knows them forwards and back.

These waters hold game fish like Bonefish, Dolphin (Mahi Mahi), Permit, Jack Crevalle, Great Barracuda, Tarpon, Snook, Wahoo, Skipjack Tuna, Yellowtail Snapper, Mangrove Snapper, Blacktip Shark, and more.

During the trip you might be spinning, trolling, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area. Capt. Johnathan also offers fly fishing, but you may need to bring your own fly gear.

You'll step aboard a 27' Bay boat with space for up to 6 passengers. It has a fighting chair, all the essentials.

Rods and reels are not included, so ask the captain about bringing your own or renting some for an extra cost. Be sure to ask about bait and lures as well.

Trips are run with the help of a First Mate. It's customary to tip the Mate 10–20% to show your appreciation.

Before coming aboard, it may be required to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species may be off limits or require a special tag, so make sure you know what to expect.

It's always wise to bring sunglasses, bottled water, and sunscreen (non-spray). If you'd like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, so long as you avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
