Live Action Fishing – Offshore
Make an adventure out of your next trip in Crystal River and go fishing with Live Action Fishing Adventures. Having logged many hours on these tides, Captain Justin can tell you all about them.
Amberjack, Cobia, Goliath Grouper, Mahi Mahi, Red Snapper, Red Grouper, Mangrove Snapper, Yellowtail Snapper, Gag Grouper, Hogfish, Gray Triggerfish, Scamp Grouper, and more inhabit these waters, depending on conditions. Depending on the species you’re after, you may find yourself spinning, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area.
If you're traveling with the family, you will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise you should bring your own. Snacks are also a good idea to maintain your energy throughout the trip!
You'll be dropping lines from a 35' Contender center console with capacity for 6 passengers. It comes with all the essentials.
Your captain will provide rods and reels, as well as lures. Live bait is available, but be sure to ask about it so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.
Trips are run with the help of a First Mate. Mates often work for tips and it's customary to offer them a 10–20% tip.
The charter boat covers your fishing license, so you can drive right over and come aboard without any hassle! Keep in mind that you may release some fish due to regulations. If you don't know what to expect, ask the captain.
It's recommended to bring sunblock (non-spray), a hat, and sunglasses. Drinks are included, free of charge. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but try to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
The click of a button is the only thing keeping you from a great day on the water with Live Action Fishing Adventures!

The Angler's Choice Award is given to listings that consistently deliver a high-quality service and earn great reviews from customers.
When I was younger, fishing wasn't part of my lifestyle in the way that it is now. Now, there's nothing I want more than to be on the water with a rod and reel. Through the years I've learned many new things and I've really enjoyed showing others the small things that can take their angling to the next level. I'm lucky enough to say that I truly do something that I love!
