Hi, I’m Captain Oscar Amaya, and I would love the opportunity to take you and your family fishing on beautiful Choctawhatchee Bay.
I have spent over 15 years fishing these waters, and one of the things I enjoy most is introducing people to fishing, especially kids and families .
We’ll be fishing aboard a 24-foot bay boat (equipped with a new 250 HP Suzuki motor, Raptor anchors, and a trolling motor), a comfortable and versatile vessel designed specifically for the shallow waters, grass flats, and shorelines of the Bay. The boat provides a smooth, stable ride and plenty of room for families and small groups of up to 5 people to fish comfortably. Its shallow draft allows us to reach productive fishing areas that larger boats simply can’t access, giving you the best opportunity to find fish.
I provide everything you will need for a trip, including quality rods and reels, bait, tackle, fishing licenses, and local knowledge gained from years on the water. Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available; otherwise, you should bring your own. All you have to do is show up ready for a good time!
Don’t forget to bring sunscreen (non-spray), bottled water, snacks, sunglasses, and a camera to capture the memories.

Oscar put us on the redfish and trout but they were reluctant to bite. Still caught some fish, saw Dolphins, & Oscar was very friendly.
Fish weren’t biting, but captain Oscar was amazing! We caught serveral catfish but that was it! Captain Oscar was amazing! He was great with my kids and we still had a great time! I will use Oscar next time we come back down!
We had a great time with Captain Oscar! We had two 16yr old boys who both caught several fish and had a great time. Oscar was very attentive and made sure that we had the best chance to catch fish. It was the highlight of our trip.
We went on a 7 a.m. trip, but it was still very warm. Due to the heat, we did not catch many fish, but that was not because of Oscar; he was excellent. We had a great time just being on the water; it was a gorgeous morning. Would definitely recommend!
Oscar was very knowledgeable about the area and took great care of us. He kept the poles baited, recommended changing spots when things slowed down and kept the energy high. The time flew by and the kids loved it.

You can cancel or modify your booking up to 3 days before the trip date, free of charge. If you cancel or modify your booking later, or fail to show up, you'll forfeit 100% of what you've paid.

When the captain confirms your trip, FishingBooker charges your credit card a 20% deposit to guarantee your reservation.
The remaining balance is to be paid directly to the charter operator on or prior to your trip date in one of the following payment methods:
