Retired Dutch Marine Corps veteran Michael Stalenhoef offers you the opportunity to catch the zander of a lifetime in Amsterdam, the zander capital of the world. Fishing Guide Amsterdam is located on the River Zaan, near the beautiful Zaanse Schans.

Whether you are new to the wonderful sport of fishing or an experienced angler, Michael's goal as your guide is to help you catch plenty of fish and create a memorable experience that will stay with you for years to come.

Depending on the season, you may hook Northern Pike, Zander, Perch, or other species that inhabit these waters.

During the trip, you may be spinning, trolling, jigging, bottom fishing, fishing with dead bait or using other techniques that are particularly effective in this area.

Your trip begins aboard an 18-foot bass boat with space for up to two guests. The boat is fully equipped for a productive and enjoyable day on the water.

Rods, reels, tackle, and a selection of lures are provided.

Your fishing license for the day is included, so all you need to do is show up ready to fish. Please note that some fish species are subject to seasonal regulations and size limits. Your captain will be happy to explain the local rules.

We recommend bringing sunglasses and non-spray sunscreen. Drinks are available on board, but feel free to bring your own if you prefer. Alcohol is permitted in moderation; however, hard liquor and glass bottles are discouraged. Food and light snacks will also be available during the trip.
