Lake Fork is East Texas’s GOAT lake for Trophy Largemouth and Crappie covering Approximately 27,000 acres depending on pool level. Lake Fork is a premiere location largely due to the Texas parks and wildlife management and slot limit regulations.
Lake Fork truly is a fisherman’s paradise. I am blessed to have lived near this beautiful Bass & Crappie fishery for the last decade. If you are planning a fishing trip on this lake, I encourage you to give me the opportunity to show you an enjoyable fishing experience. Lake Fork is well known for producing exceptional Bass & Crappie fishing and monster slabs. NOTE: (Crappie June through January only) and Bass will be booked year-round.
I have had the pleasure of seeing many happy anglers catch the biggest bass of their lives. I hope we can do the same! If allowed the privilege of being your Lake Fork guide, I will do my best to meet your expectations for the day. Our trip will be catch and release to give others the opportunity to catch one of these great fish!
I cater to a wide variety of fishermen from around the country. Anglers of all ages and skill levels are welcome! While many customers just want to catch Bass and have a good time, I also offer instructional trips regarding seasonal fishing patterns, deep water, specific techniques, and how to interpret sonar.
I do not fish on your trip unless you ask me to or if I need to demonstrate a particular technique. The numbers that are reported on social media of recent catches reflects the number of bass my clients catch.
My mission is to help you learn the skills to catch lots of big fish on Lake Fork. In addition, I will focus my efforts on your goals for our trip whether you want to learn a new technique, learn the current patterns for a week’s visit, or just have an enjoyable day with friends or family.

I go to Fork once a year for a week. I use Byron on the first day every time. He always gets me on the fish… but what he does that above and beyond, is he calls every day to see how the I did and help me find them all week. The last few times I’ve added a night trip with him and we’ve caught some giants! At this point I consider Byron a friend and will use him every year. His boat and gear is always immaculate. You can’t go wrong with him! 10 out of 10!
Me and my two sons have gone out w/ Byron Chavez multiple times at Lake Fork! He is an absolute professional and treats every angler to a fishing clinic! We’ve caught some monster Bass and have always trusted his superior instincts when it comes to making trips memorable! Highly recommend and can’t wait til our next outing with Byron!

You can cancel or modify your booking up to 7 days before the trip date, free of charge. If you cancel or modify your booking later, or fail to show up, you'll forfeit 100% of what you've paid.

Transfer to/from departure site is not included in trip rates.
How you can pay
When the captain confirms your trip, FishingBooker charges your credit card a 25% deposit to guarantee your reservation.
The remaining balance is to be paid directly to the charter operator on or prior to your trip date in one of the following payment methods:
