If you're traveling with the family, you will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! Children must wear life vests depending on size. Feel free to bring your own snacks to keep 'em happy! Bring lunches also.
Your day begins aboard a 22' Pathfinder with room for 3 passengers. It comes with all the essentials, including the right gear to catch your fish. You'll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, as well as lures. Live bait is included when it is available.
Your fishing license for the day is covered by the charter boat, so all you have to do is look forward to your trip! Some fish have special regulations, including when you can keep them. Your captain will help you follow regulations while you fish.
Don't forget to bring sunblock (non-spray), hats, and sunglasses. Cold waters are included. Alcohol is allowed.
How often would you rather be fishing? Go on and turn that day dream into a reality, with Captain Mike Merritt's Native Guide Service. We specialize in catching Snook, but can target any species. With over 40 years of knowledge you are certain to have a great experience!
Captain Mike grew up fishing these waters and now is teamed up with his son who also has a 22 ft. Pathfinder to accommodate larger groups. We will certainly put you on the fish.

Everglades City, Florida, United States
I was raised in Everglades City and caught my first Snook when I was 8 years old. I have been catching them ever since. I have always loved the challenge of putting someone on a big fish. This is what I love to do. A 45" Snook is the biggest I have ever had a client catch here in the 10,000 Islands. I always strive for the best day ever!
