Get to know Torres del Paine and its surroundings like never before when you book a trip through The Adventure Corp.
Here you won't be far from remote lake waters, including some spots that only the locals know about.
Around here it's common to go fly fishing, which is what you'll be doing on the day of your trip. You may also for your catch. Marcelo will provide rods and reels.
Fishing around here will often see you targeting Brown Trout, Chinook Salmon, and more if conditions are right.
Note that your guide practices catch-and-release fishing, so won't be taking any fish home with you after the trip. Groups of up to 4 are welcome on these excursions. You'll be fishing without a boat, so expect to make your way on foot at least part of the time and come dressed for current weather conditions.
Expect to get in touch with Marcelo before the trip so you know where to meet and how to get there.
There's no need to buy a fishing license and Marcelo will help you follow local regulations. Layered clothing and appropriate footwear are always encouraged (if you aren't sure what that means, just ask). It's never a bad idea to bring sunscreen, bottled water, and sunglasses, rain or shine.
Marcelo will have some snacks and drinks for you. This is a kid-friendly experience, so feel free to bring 'em along and pack any snacks or extra clothing they need. They should always wear life vests, so find out if Marcelo has the right size available or bring your own.

I started studying Ecotourism, interested in developing a carrier working with local communities and that's what brought us to Patagonia. This is a real family business created from the outdoors and waters we've been taught to fish. Our favorite spot by far is near to the east with clear water, dry fly fishing, technical casting, world class water. Patagonia gives you many chances of catching big browns down here. The average is always close to 15 to 18 inches. If you nkow where to go, you can go over this number for quite a few inches.
