Depending on the species you’re after, you may find yourself light tackle fishing, trolling, back trolling, drifting, or maybe something more specialized in this area.
Trips with Lechtaler’s Guide Service are great for kids, so go ahead and bring the whole family along! If you don't have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there's one on board. Snacks are permitted onboard — bring your favorites for a boost of energy when needed!
You'll be fishing aboard a 20' Jet boat that can carry up to 4 passengers. It has all the essentials no fishing machine can run without.
Capt. Jeff will provide rods and reels for you, along with all terminal tackle and lures. All bait is included. LGS will clean and fillet your catch.
You will need to have a valid California fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you check sate regulations or ask Jeff.
Some essentials to bring are lunch and snacks, sunscreen, and sunglasses. A cooler in your vehicle to bring home your catch. Water and some sodas will be available for you. Alcohol is allowed in moderation.

You can cancel or modify your booking up to 14 days before the trip date, free of charge. If you cancel or modify your booking later, or fail to show up, you'll forfeit 100% of what you've paid.
