Poor Boys Fishing – Avery Lake
Spend the day with Poor Boys Fishing and find out what the fishing in Atlanta is all about! Captain Jason will be your guide, bringing aboard their sportfishing experience.
Depending on the time of year, you might hook into Largemouth Bass, Smallmouth Bass, Northern Pike, Walleye, and whatever else is biting.
You'll target your catch by spinning, popping, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area. Any fish within the legal limit are yours to take with you.
If you're traveling with the family, you will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! If you don't have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there's one on board. Also remember to bring snacks to ward off any mid-trip fatigue!
Capt. Jason welcomes you aboard a 21' Bass boat that holds up to 3 passengers. It comes with everything you need for a productive day on the water.
Your captain will provide rods and reels, as well as lures.
Before coming aboard, you may need to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect.
Don't leave home without bottled water, snacks, sunglasses, and sunscreen (non-spray). Drinks will be available for you. Alcohol is not allowed.
How often would you rather be fishing? Go on and turn that day dream into a reality, with Poor boys fishing.
