Saodat – Samarkand 

Spend the day with Sobir Kul getting to know the waters around Samarqand like never before.

The stunning scenery includes remote lakes, with some spots only locals know about.

Around here, it's common to go fishing from shore, which is how you'll get acquainted with these waters. You can also do some spinning, bottom fishing, and perhaps try other techniques your guide would like to show you. You may need to bring your own gear for this trip or rent some for an additional fee. Contact Saodat ahead of time so you know what to expect and can come prepared.

Carp, catfish, and more can be found in these waters, depending on the time of year.

Fish that meet size and bag limits are yours to take home. Saodat can even clean your catch for you so it's ready to fry up at home. Now that's a fresh meal! Saodat can accommodate groups of up to 18 people on this guided experience. You'll be fishing without a boat, so expect to walk at least part of the time and dress appropriately for the weather.

Your fishing license for the day is covered by the guide, and Saodat will help you follow local regulations. You're encouraged to dress in layers and wear appropriate footwear. If you're not sure what that means, just ask! It's also a good idea to bring sunglasses, bottled water, and sunscreen, rain or shine.

Saodat will have some snacks for you. This is a kid-friendly experience, so feel free to bring the little ones along and pack any extras they may need.
