Toronto has a fish with your name on it, so let Trigger and Tackle Outdoors help you catch it! Captain Jonathan will be your guide, giving you access to their knowledge and experience.
You're likely to go after Chinook Salmon, Atlantic Salmon, Salmon, Coho Salmon, Lake Trout, and more, depending on conditions.
You can expect to do some light tackle fishing, trolling, or maybe something more specialized in this area.
Looking to get the whole family outdoors? Kids are absolutely welcome! If you don't have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there's one on board. Feel free to bring your own snacks to keep up those energy levels!
Your adventure begins aboard a 38' Sportfishing that can carry up to 8 passengers. It comes with downriggers, all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. There's a toilet on board for your convenience.
You'll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, as well as lures. Live bait is on offer, but be sure to ask about it so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.
There will be a First Mate on board to help your trip run smoothly. Mates often work for tips and it's customary to offer them a 10–20% tip.
You might need to purchase a local fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect.
It's recommended to bring a hat, sunglasses, bottled water, and sunscreen (non-spray). If you'd like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

I would highly recommend this experience for friends, family, and groups. The staff were super knowledgable about fishing spots, the types of fish, and boat safety. They explained the process and had a setup that maximized our time on the water. This was my first time on a fishing charter and I can say it was a blast! Rods were going off left and right lol to see the boys excitement was priceless! They hooked 3 at the same time and that was fun to see :) Just cruising to the area where we fished was amazing. Passing the TO skyline and the scenery also makes this a nice trip even for those that are not the most experienced when it comes to fishing. A fun time was had and it won’t be our last!

That is so great to hear that you had an amazing time. We love Fishing and it’s such a blessing that we are able to share our passion and have other people enjoy it as well. The kids were fantastic and we look forward to taking your whole family out again. Tight Lines…. from Captain Matt and the whole Trigger and Tackle crew.

Went for a half day charter aboard the triggers and tackle boat today for the first time today. We landed 15 or so kings with majority being mature fish with the biggest just shy of 25lbs. Matt is super knowledgeable of the waters and will put you on the fish even when other boats aren’t moving many rods. Top of the line gear is ready and set when you arrive at the docks. 10/10 would recommend this charter to anyone and plan to return myself hopefully again this summer.

Hey Mitch, thanks for the review! It definitely was a great day on the water. TNT loves being on the water and catching fish!
