Want to battle giant fish on an adventure like no other? Whether you’re in for big game or just want to create unforgettable memories with your friends and family, Captain Brandon Wootton of Mainlanders Sport Fishing is your guy! He’ll hook you up with White Sturgeon, and much more that the Fraser River has to offer.
Capt. Brandon is proud to announce that his charter is now part of the Fraser River’s Sturgeon Conservation Society. This means they take part in tagging and tracking White Sturgeon on the river, helping to conserve this fish. On your trip, you’ll earn the unique bragging rights of taking part in the conservation of Sturgeon, too!
Head to Chilliwack and explore the bountiful waters on a 20’ Custom Weld jet boat. It comes powered by a 350 HP Chevrolet engine and can accommodate up to four anglers in full comfort. The vessel is equipped with top-notch professional gear, navigational electronics and fishfinding equipment.
Get ready for some trolling, spinning, and jigging, as well as bottom, drift, and fly fishing. Let Captain Brandon lead the way and put you on a magnificent giant White Sturgeon or any Salmon you wish to cross off your bucket list - Pink, Coho, Chinook, or Chum. Don’t forget that Sturgeon is strictly catch-and-release, but Captain Brandon will clean and filet all the Salmon you catch.
Mainlanders Sport Fishing puts success, safety, and convenience of their customers above everything else. Even though catching a ‘Living Fossil’ is a dream come true for all big game anglers, it’s perfectly suitable for families with kids too. Children older than four are welcome on board, and the captain will provide life jackets for them too.
Captain will provide everything else free of charge - lures, top quality fly fishing equipment, and Penn and Shimano rods and reels. Bring your own drinks and snacks, and don’t forget to buy a fishing license before the trip. Contact Brandon for larger group bookings, he has several boats in his fleet.

I am an avid angler, and a big part of a successful day is picking the right guide. The right guide means someone that is passionate about fishing, knows the water, understands the nature of the targeted species and uses proven methods. Brandon checks all those boxes... but he also has a great demeanor, is patient and makes fishing fun! My kids and I did a full day trip with Brandon, and it was one of thee most memorable experiences I have ever had! We caught five Sturgeon, and since Brandon is a conservationist, we also had the opportunity to tag two of the fish we caught. Which, made this trip way more hands on and impressive! My kids and I loved it! I highly recommend Brandon and Mainlanders!!

What an amazing trip with Captain Brandon!!! He put us over a shoal of big fish and within 30 minutes we had a strong take - I wasn't sure I could hold on the fish was so strong and ran 300 yds of line before we could stop him!!! 45 minutes later and we had him securely near the shore and returned safely to the river - I was too beat up to catch another big one but Brandon put us back on the fish immediately and before long a smaller 3 footer was in the boat giving us the chance of a closer look. We had bite after bite for the rest of the afternoon but none developed into a proper take The care and conservation aspect of Brandon's respect for the river and the fish shone out - Brandon is really a field scientist as well as an excellent fishing guide and he shared so much knowledge of the fishery I was enthralled If you want a quality trip choose Brandon through fishingbooker.com

For the past 30 years, I've been living and fishing in the Fraser Valley. My career as a fishing guide on the Fraser River started ten years ago, and I specialize in catch-and-release Sturgeon Fishing. This is undoubtedly my favorite fish when it comes to guiding - there's nothing like the excitement of your customers when they encounter a giant Sturgeon for the first time in their lives. My goal is to guide my guests through the adventure of a lifetime and help them land their dream fish.
