LLA – Buoy 10 Adventures
Make the most of your time in Chinook (near Astoria and Ilwaco) and go fishing with Livin' Life Adventures. Your guide for the day is Captain Brianna, bringing aboard her knowledge and experience.
You’ll be trolling for Salmon during this season known as “the superbowl of Salmon” - both Chinook (King) and Coho (Silver) depending on the current regulations.
Planning a family adventure? Kids are absolutely welcome! Please bring an appropriately sized life jacket for children 12 and under, or even older if youd like them to wear one. If you don't have one please check in when you book so we can be sure to have one on board for them. And, you can't go wrong with snacks so that nobody gets cranky on an empty belly!
Your trip begins aboard a 26' Aluminum fishing boat (Willie Raptor) with room for 6 passengers. It has all the essentials. What's more, this vessel is wheelchair accessible.
Your captain will provide rods and reels, along with lures.
You'll have the help of a First Mate to put you on fish. Mates work hard to make your trip count, so a 10–20% tip is customary.
Before coming aboard, you'll need to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. For this fishery you will need either a WA or OR license with salmon catch record card and Columbia River Endorsement.
A few items to bring include rain gear (even if it's not raining you will get splashed/sprayed by the waves and the boat) sunglasses, a hat, sunscreen (non-spray), and bottled water. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
