Get to the fish in no time, whatever the season! Darwin Harbour Fishing Charters strives to provide each one of their customers with the experience of a lifetime. With very experienced guides and a fleet of sturdy boats, they pride themselves on their friendly attitude and the great time they show every person who comes aboard their boat.
During your trip, you will be fishing aboard a 21’ aluminium boat that was custom built for Darwin’s big tides. These boats allow you to access waters other boats can’t reach, and they are all fully surveyed and equipped with a shade canopy and walkaround deck.
There are over 30 species of fish that you can catch in the waters around Darwin, and Darwin Harbour Fishing Charters has the equipment and local knowledge to help you hook them. The guides have over 15 years of experience in these waters, and they are ready and waiting to take you exploring the local estuaries, mangroves, mudflats, reefs, and wrecks.
With very short travel times, you will be able to maximise your time on the water, catching fish as diverse as Threadfin Salmon, Golden Trevally, Queenfish, Mud Crabs, Barramundi, Coral Trout, Snapper, Barracuda, Cod, and Jewfish. You might even see a croc on your charter!
The crew will be on hand throughout the trip to assist you in every aspect of fishing, from baiting your hook to cleaning your fish and filleting it for you to take home and enjoy. They know how to find fish and, most importantly, to make sure everyone in the group is having fun.
If you are not able to take your catch home with you, the crew would recommend you practice catch and release to protect the local fish stocks and to keep them healthy for you and all around you to visit and enjoy another day.
Come and explore Darwin’s amazing fishery today – with Darwin Harbour Fishing Charters the fun never ends!
