I am a passionate fly fisherman, competition angler, and professional instructor with extensive international experience. Having lived in Canada for 20 years, I developed a deep connection with fly fishing and gained experience in both recreational and competitive fishing.
I am a former member of Team Canada and currently a member of the Romanian National Fly Fishing Team. I am also the Romanian Fly Fishing Champion, with additional achievements including National Canadian Fly Fishing Team Champion and Québec Provincial Fly Fishing Champion.
After many years in Canada, I returned to Europe, where I now share my knowledge and passion for fly fishing with anglers of all experience levels. Whether you are a complete beginner learning the fundamentals or an experienced angler looking to refine your technique, I tailor each guiding or instruction session to your goals.
My international background allows me to combine fly fishing techniques and approaches from North America and Europe. I particularly enjoy helping anglers improve their casting, presentation, water reading, fly selection, and overall fishing strategy.
My main target species are Trout, Grayling, and Hucho. I fish a wide variety of rivers and conditions and adapt each session to the experience and objectives of my clients.
I speak English, French, and Romanian and provide guiding and instruction in Romania, Slovakia, and Sweden. Whether you want to enjoy a relaxing day on the water, discover European fly fishing, improve your skills, or prepare for competition, I would be happy to share my experience and knowledge.

Fly fishing has been a major part of my life for more than 20 years. I spent two decades in Canada, where I developed my passion for the sport and competed at a high level, including as a member of Team Canada. After returning to Europe, I continued my competitive career and became a Romanian Fly Fishing Champion. I am currently a member of the Romanian National Fly Fishing Team and continue to compete internationally. Today, I combine my competition experience with my passion for guiding and instruction. I enjoy sharing my knowledge, helping anglers develop their skills, and creating memorable experiences on the river. I specialize in Trout, Grayling, and Hucho and guide on rivers in Romania and Slovakia, including waters that have hosted international fly-fishing competitions. Having lived and fished in both North America and Europe, I bring a broad perspective to fly fishing and speak English, French, and Romanian fluently. For me, fly fishing is about more than catching fish. It’s about understanding the river, refining your technique, embracing the challenge, and enjoying time in nature.

How cancellations work
You can cancel or modify your booking up to 7 days before the trip date, free of charge. If you cancel or modify your booking later, or fail to show up, you'll forfeit 100% of what you've paid.
What the listing policies are
Pickup agreed upon reservation
Transfer to/from departure site may be available and included in price depending on your location and distance from the dock.
How you can pay
When the captain confirms your trip, FishingBooker charges your credit card a 20% deposit to guarantee your reservation.
The remaining balance is to be paid directly to the charter operator on or prior to your trip date in one of the following payment methods:
