These waters are home to Bohar Snapper, Amberjack, Blackfin Barracuda, Black Marlin, Wahoo, Mahi Mahi, Giant Trevally, and Yellowfin Tuna. Depending on the conditions, you could hook into any of these exciting species!
On the day of your trip you're likely to jig using heavy tackle.
Planning a family adventure? Kids are absolutely welcome! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise you should bring your own. Don't forget to bring snacks to maintain your energy throughout the trip!
You'll be casting lines from a 24' Sportfishing that can carry up to 4 passengers. It has outriggers, everything you need for a productive day on the water. There's a toilet on board for your convenience.
Capt. Nosy Be has rods and reels for you, along with lures. Live bait is available, but you should ask the captain whether you'll be catching it yourself.
There will be a First Mate on board to help your trip run smoothly. It's customary to tip the Mate 10–20% to show your appreciation.
The charter boat covers your fishing license, just show up ready for some fishing! Some fish have special regulations, including when you can keep them. Your captain will help you follow regulations while you fish.
You can't go wrong when you bring sunglasses, a hat, sunscreen (non-spray), and bottled water. Drinks will be available for you. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, so long as you avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles. There will be food and some light snacks for you on board.
