I’m Captain Jack from Central Oregon, and I’ve been fishing the Pacific Northwest for more than 30 years. As a United States Coast Guard-licensed captain and fishing guide, I fish the Columbia River from Astoria to McNary Dam. I started fishing at an early age and quickly realized there’s nothing quite like being on the water. I’ve been hooked ever since. In 2013, I began pursuing my guide license to fish one of my favorite PNW fisheries, White Sturgeon, but changes to the fishery shifted my path. In 2018, I rediscovered a fishery I had experienced with my dad nearly 35 years earlier—bowfishing. Today, I get to share my passion for the sport with people who may be experiencing it for the first time. I look forward to having you aboard, putting some fish in the boat, and creating an unforgettable trip. Fish on!
