If you’re looking for an exciting fishing trip with a skilled guide in some of the most stunning waters in Europe, look no further than Blue Sea of Dalmatia. Based out of Split, you’ll be perfectly placed to enjoy the famous waters of the Dalmatian Coast as you reel in fish after fish.

Spend the day with local charter captain Ivan Ornig. He runs his trips aboard a 2018 Jeanneau Cap Camarat center console that can carry 6 anglers with ease. The boat is powered by a 300 HP Yamaha V6, so you’ll waste no time on the way to the fishing grounds. She also has a covered top, so you can cruise in comfort even in the hot Croatian sun.

What you target on your trip is up to you. Capt. Ivan will happily take you up to 20 miles out to fish for deep-water fish like Grouper, Amberjack, and Dentex. You can also bring in Lobster, Eels, and a huge host of other interesting species.

With so many fish on the cards, you’ll need a range of techniques to make the most of these waters. Capt. Ivan stocks equipment for anything from bottom fishing to trolling to fly fishing and more. So whether you want to drop lines for tasty bottom fish or test your fly game against hard-fighting Little Tunny, you have everything you need to bag a winner.

Most of the catch stays with the boat on Blue Sea of Dalmatia trips, but you can take a fish or two for dinner if you like. What you’ll always get is a fun day out with plenty of action and one of the most scenic views you could ask for. All this, with an enthusiastic captain from a local family business. If it sounds like the perfect day out, it probably is!
