Reel Priorities Guide Service offers guided fishing trips with Jakob, a skilled, friendly, and dedicated fishing guide who has cut his teeth on Washington rivers since grade school. He combines extensive knowledge of fish biology, river ecology, and fisheries science with a personal love and passion for being on the water and endlessly pursuing incredible fish.

Jakob guides a multitude of Washington Coast rivers, each with its own character and opportunities to target runs of Salmon and Steelhead. Trips take you from hole to hole, fishing the best gear, hardware, and techniques from his 16’ ClackaCraft drift boat.

Whether your goal is to learn new techniques in conventional gear fishing, refine your fly fishing, or cultivate a deeper understanding of the fish you are seeking, Jakob is prepared to meet you wherever you are in your fishing journey and provide your goal within a beautiful and unique setting.

Depending on the season and your interests, trips may target:

– Fall Salmon: Harvest opportunities as well as catch-and-release fishing from September through December.
– Hatchery Winter Steelhead: Opportunity to harvest Steelhead on the famous Wynoochee River in January and February.
– Wild Winter Steelhead: The pinnacle of PNW sport fishing, requiring no introduction, from January through March.
– Summer Steelhead: Opportunity to pursue aerial Steelhead in Grays Harbor rivers.
– Resident Trout: Opportunity to pursue resident Rainbows, Cutthroat, and Bull Trout on many coastal streams and rivers.
– Spring Chinook: Opportunity to harvest the best-eating fish in the world. Limited dates.

Trips can be tailored to your personal interests and fishing goals. No matter what type of experience you are seeking, Reel Priorities Guide Service has you covered!
