Spend the day with Salty Conch Charters and see what's biting in Key West! Your guide for the day is Captain Jonathan, who has been a fishing guide for over 14 years. Captain Jon is a wounded combat veteran who puts his customers' needs first.
Sailfish, Skipjack Tuna, Dolphin (Mahi Mahi), Yellowtail Snapper, Goliath Grouper, Red Snapper, Yellowfin Tuna, Swordfish, Gray Triggerfish, Cobia, King Mackerel (Kingfish), White Marlin, and more are in the cards, depending on the season.
You'll target your catch by spinning, trolling, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area. For the more adventurous among you, there's spearfishing.
Capt. Jonathan welcomes you aboard a 25' center console with capacity for 4 passengers. It has all the essentials. There's a toilet on board for your convenience.
You'll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, along with lures. Live bait is available, but be sure to ask about it so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.
You'll have the help of a first mate to put you on fish. It's customary to tip the mate 10–20% to show your appreciation.
The charter boat covers your fishing license, so just show up ready for a good time! Keep in mind that some fish may have harvest limits or closed seasons. Simply ask your captain, and he can tell you more.
Don't leave home without sunscreen (non-spray), sunglasses, and bottled water. If you'd like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but you should avoid hard liquor and glass bottles.
And that's it! Your fishing trip with Salty Conch Charters is just a click away.
