Prowler Fishing Charter can take you on the most exciting trips you will take in your life with your family as they strive to provide an unforgettable experience for every guest. They do so by giving you their undivided attention, treating you like their own family, and by putting you on fish.

Captain Louis is a father of two boys who has been fishing his whole life. He grew up in a fishing family and has continued the tradition by taking his own sons on the water as soon as they were able to stand on their own feet.

Captain Louis will take you out on a 42 foot Hatteras offshore sport fishing boat, which was originally built in 1974. It is powered by two 450 HP Detroit Diesel engines with a maximum cruising speed of 25 knots.

This steady vessel holds 3 beds, a toilet and a shower, a full kitchen including a refrigerator, a TV, a flybridge and air-conditioning. It also has a GPS, a radar, a VHF radio for communication with the USCG and other boats, and a fishfinder. You will find all the safety equipment including life jackets, fire extinguishers and flares aboard too.

Prowler Fishing Charter fishes in the Norfolk waters of the North Atlantic Ocean, which is home to a variety of desirable fish species. Inshore species include Spanish Mackerel, Black Seabass, and Redfish.

Offshore species include some of the most desirable game fish like Blue Marlin, White Marlin, Bluefin and Yellowfin Tuna, Mahi Mahi, Cobia, and Amberjack. Captain Louis will provide rods, reels, tackle, live and artificial bait and a fishing license needed for these waters.

This is a very child and family friendly charter where liquor is not permitted, but you are welcome to bring along canned beer, and smoking is only allowed outside.
