These waters are known for Black Drum, Redfish, Striped Bass, Flounder, Cobia, King Mackerel (Kingfish), White Bass, Largemouth Bass, Weakfish, Sheepshead, Speckled Trout, Little Tunny (False Albacore), and more – with any luck, it won't take long to hook into some.
On these trips, it’s common to troll using light tackle. Capt. Chris can also take you Flounder gigging.
Planning a family adventure? Kids are absolutely welcome! If you don't have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there's one on board. Snacks are never a bad idea for a boost of energy when needed!
Your boat for the day is a 23' bay boat that holds up to 4 passengers. It has all the essentials no fishing machine can run without.
Your captain will provide rods and reels, as well as lures. Live bait is included, but you should ask the captain whether you'll be catching it yourself.
The charter boat covers your fishing license, so you can drive right over and come aboard without any hassle! Keep in mind that you may release some fish due to regulations. Your captain will help you follow regulations while you fish.
Don't forget to bring sunglasses, bottled water, and sunblock (non-spray). Drinks are included, free of charge. Alcohol is allowed in moderation; just avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

- River fishing (We will start out the trip by a ride through Newberns waterfront then head out into the Neuse River to chase a variety of diffrent species of fish depending on time of year. From there we will head to the first spot and get to work on the fish.)
