They have owned and operated the lodge and the business for over 20 years on Vancouver Island’s West Coast which offers unparalleled fishing and scenery. Kyuquot Beach House will make sure you have an unforgettable time by taking you to the best fishing spots, providing home cooked meals and lovely accommodation in their picturesque lodge which resembles a story tale.
They own a Pursuit saltwater fishing boat which was originally built in 1989 and restored in 2015. It is powered by two 250 HP Yamaha engines, and can comfortably fit 2 guests. It is equipped with life jackets, a GPS, a fishfinder and a toilet for your comfort.
The species most targeted are Salmon, Halibut, Bass, Breaksea Cod, Red Emperor Snapper, Lingcod and Common Ling. You will also be able to fish for crabs and prawns. Depending on the package you choose, you will be provided with fishing tackle. All packages include cleaning and filleting, and ice to keep the catch fresh until you return to the shore.
The lodge can comfortably accommodate up to 10 guest to ensure a friendly atmosphere and a sense of privacy. Fishing can be done inshore or offshore, with the boat located only minutes from the land based lodge with a private dock.
Kyuquot Beach House Deep Sea Trips offer fly-in floatplane trips directly to their dock through a number of charter operators out of Seattle, WA., Vancouver, BC or Campbell River, BC. All have daily scheduled flights in/out of these cities. Drive in trips are north of Campbell River, BC on Vancouver Island past the community of Zeballos, BC to Fair Harbour where you will be met by their guides for a 30 minute boat transfer to the lodge.
