Captain Mikes Good Hit Sportfishing is based out of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and offers a variety of inshore and offshore fishing adventures on these productive waters. Captain Mike is a very friendly captain, who has been fishing this area since he was a boy. He has experience in both commercial and charter fishing, and is the perfect guide to put you on fish in this region.
His recently restored 32’ Ocean Master center console boat is powered by twin 2014 250HP Evinrude E-TEC outboards, and comes equipped with new Simrad electronics, state-of-the-art fishfinding and safety equipment, and 360 degree fishability. The vessel is kept in great condition, and with its deep sides and twin engines, it provides a dry and fast ride to the fishing grounds. There is space to accommodate up to six anglers, and to help you get the most out of your fishing, the boat is also fitted with outriggers, downriggers, 54 rod holders, live bait tank, icebox for your refreshments, as well as a JL audio 8-speaker sound system for your enjoyment. For your safety, the boat is of course outfitted with all US Coast Guard mandated safety equipment including radio and EPIRB.
Captain Mike specializes in kite fishing, live bait fishing, Swordfish and Tarpon charters, and has all the equipment necessary to reel in a range of fish. He offers half day, full day, and customized trips targeting species such as Sailfish, Swordfish, Mahi Mahi, Game Sharks, Tuna, Kingfish, Tarpon, Wahoo, and more. Trips include the use of rods, reels and tackle, lures, live bait, fishing license, soft drinks and water, as well as cleaning and filleting of your catch. Capt. Mike takes great care of his live bait, feeding it to make sure it is big and strong to really entice the big beasts below.
