Kitchen Pass Dive & Fishing Charter

Harrison Avenue
Panama City FL, United States

Kitchen Pass Dive and Fishing Charter is a veteran-owned charter company. Offering nearshore fishing and dive charters, the company will provide you with all the fishing equipment you need for a great day on the water.

The Kitchen Pass is a spacious 26 ft Dusky center console that has a lot of room for up to six people to go fishing or diving. Powered by a 300 HP Yamaha engine, the boat can reach speeds of over thirty knots and will take you to the best reefs and wrecks in no time. It features a GPS, fishfinder, and VHF radio for communication and navigation, and there is a live bait tank on board to keep your bait in the best condition possible.

Explore the nearshore wrecks and reefs around Panama City, Florida, either above the water with a fishing rod, or beneath the surface with diving equipment. Whichever option you go for, you are likely to encounter Snappers, Groupers, Jacks, and Mackerel. As far as fishing is concerned, you could be bottom fishing, trolling, and jigging and, depending on what you want to get out of your day, you could be targeting Redfish, Trout, and Flounder, or Barracuda and Sharks. Captain James Tew does not keep a strict time limit but is happy to take you out from two to twelve hours, depending on what you want to do.

Kitchen Pass Fishing and Dive Charter provides all the gear you need for fishing - all you need to bring is your own food and drinks. If you are taking a dive charter, you will need to bring your own gear.

I have fished all my life in mostly freshwater until I was stationed in Okinawa with the Air Force, where I fell in love with scuba diving. Stationed here in Florida's Panhandle, I took up saltwater fishing and found I have a knack for it. After almost 22 years in the Air Force I decided to retire and start a charter with the two hobbies I fell in love with: fishing and diving.

This was an amazing experience for my daughter and I. Captain James Tew and first mate Wesley, were both so helpful, professional and knowledgeable.  They helped us the entire day as newer fisherman to saltwater /reef fishing, understanding what to do to bring in the fish. We caught Red Snapper, Gag Grouper, BeeLiner, Trigger fish, and more. We also caught and released a baby Tiger and Spinner shark and an Eel. We saw dolphins, sea turtle, jelly fish, remoras. Captain James was extremely flexible with the schedule of the trip due to some inclement weather in the morning. Captain Tews (Kitchen Pass) is a small family business owner and Miltary veteran, I would highly recommand for your fishing experience in the Panama City area (Gulf of México)

Sincerely,

Mick & Abbey from Ohio
