Soak in some amazing views under the Florida sun, and reel in some prized fish with Good Hit Sportfishing! Captain Jed is a very friendly captain, with years of local knowledge.

. With its deep sides and twin engines, it provides a dry and fast ride to the fishing grounds.

The captain will provide you with all the fishing equipment, including rods, reels, and tackle, as well as a range of artificial lures. Capt. Fischer takes great care of his live bait, feeding it to make sure it is big and strong to really entice the big beasts below. If you’d like to try the fruits of your labor, the crew will be more than happy to clean and fillet your catch, so you can taste it for dinner.

You can choose from a range of trips, and you can try out the specialized Swordfish trip. Other target species include Sailfish, Mahi Mahi, Shark, Tuna, Kingfish, Tarpon, and Wahoo.

Make sure to bring some snacks on the longer trips to stay refreshed. Bring some sunscreen as well so you can relax under the hot Florida sun.

All that’s left to do is book Good Hit Sportfishing, and you’re all set to have a memorable Florida fishing adventure!

Your captain spent numerous years as a commercial Swordfish fisherman so he knows exactly how to find the fish. Get ready for an exciting night adventure!

March Madness at Good Hit Sport Fishing is always known for big fish. In March we are always excited to get out on the South Florida waters because we really don’t know what tomorrow brings, but it’s always big. This is a year we will never forget. On March 14th, Captain Adam and our guests caught a fish they will never forget. A juvenile, 100” Great White Shark, this shark was hooked up directly off Beachplace in Fort Lauderdale. The bait that was used was a king mackerel caught earlier on the trip and was put on the bottom. After the catch, the local news was waiting at the dock for an interview. It was broadcast all over South Florida, then later another interview was done in South Dakota when our customers returned home. It later aired in the Tri-State area. Needless to say, these boys will be stoked for a while. All sharks at Good Hit sportfishing are catch and released, we Do NOT bring these beautys onboard. A few of the different species we caught in March: Tiger sharks, Hammerhead shark, Bullshark, Sandbar sharks, and more. Knowing that the next fish could be a legendary catch, we are extremely excited to fish in March, and get out on the water.
