Coastal Charters – Texas Bet 

We had a great day on Texas Bet with Captain Tyler and first mate Joey! They kept us on fish all day. They kept the big boys challenged and the little kids engaged all day. We snagged king mackerel, vermillion snapper, a shark, and filefish (possibly a junior state record)!

Did two 8 hour off shore two days straight. Great crew both days, limited on Snapper both days. Highly recommended.

This 8 hour trip with Captain Danny Dorman was, without a doubt, the most fun my family has had in a very long time. From start to finish Captain Dorman and his right-hand-man Jake were the best of professionals while making us feel like we were on the boat with long-time friends. Everything was perfect...and HOLY COW does this man know how to find the fish! He put us right on top of them every time. Double and triple hook-ups were normal. The boat was awesome too. Even though it was rough out, it was a very smooth ride. We will be going back with Captain Dorman as soon as we possibly can. It was a fishing trip of a lifetime!

Seas were rough but we traveled to Port A to catch fish and that’s exactly what we did. The captain and first mate were at the top of their game and kept us catching. Had a great time.

We had an amazing day of fishing . Capt. Danny and his mate were very friendly and helpful. They made sure that each of us had the chance to catch the kind of fish that we wanted. They interacted with each of our kids and also told us about themselves. Very laid back and enjoyable day!

Great captain and crew, Great Boat ! This was our first time fishing the famed gulf and I had some pretty high expectations, but the overall experience and unbelievable fishing that Captain Danny put us on far exceeded all my expectations ! We ended up catching 8 different species in all. The action was nonstop all day. This Captains knowledge of the waters and the species in them is second to none. Every spot that we went we caught fish where and how he said we would ! I couldn't have wished for a better first time trip to the Gulf ! Thanks again Captain Danny, hope to see you for round two next year.

It was a pretty long trip out and back, but once we got to fishing it was almost non stop action. Actually had a Mako take a fish that I was bringing to the boat, and fought it for about 15 minutes before it bit through the line. It was the best fishing trip I have ever taken

Our first time going offshore and we had a great time. The captain and deckhand are both young guys who absolutely love to fish. Weather conditions were perfect so we were able to chase down shrimpers 60miles out. These guys have no quit when it comes time to find the fish. We will use these guys again for our next offshore trip !

Captain Dorman of Costal Charters in one word is awesome. He had me on the fish in no time and we made stops on our way back to do some site fishing. He even apologized for extending the trip which resulted in bringing in some great catches. While I had hoped to catch a dolphin fish I ended up catching 6 species! Just means I'll have to return for another trip with Dan the Man! Thanks for making my first trip on the Gulf one of my top 5 ever of chartering a boat for fishing.
