The crew of Coastal Charters is made up of extremely friendly and experienced anglers, who they pride themselves on paying attention to every single guest who comes aboard. They especially love teaching kids and beginners everything about the different fish species available in this area, as well as fishing techniques.
You’ll begin your adventure on board a 36’ Twin Vee catamaran, originally built in 2006 and powered by twin 300 HP Suzuki engines. This speedy beauty is painted in the area’s national colours and can fit up to 6 anglers. Bring along the whole family, or your best angling buddies!
She’s decked out with a GPS, radar, and VHF radio for connection with the USCG, as well as an excellent fish finder to help you locate the best fishing spots. She also contains all the necessary safety equipment you’ll need, including life jackets, a life raft, CPR-trained crew, and EPIRB. In addition, this vessel is equipped with a full toilet and bed and is wheelchair accessible.
Capt. Danny and his crew will take you offshore fishing in the rich waters of the Gulf of Mexico, where species such as Mahi Mahi, Blue and White Marlin, Tuna varieties, and Amberjack come to play. You’ll also be targeting Wahoo, Mackerel, Cobia, Grouper, Jack Crevalle, Rainbow Runner, and that local favorite, Red Snapper, depending on the seasonality. Your crew will show you the best techniques to use to hook your dream catch.
