It also contains all the safety equipment including life jackets, a life raft, CPR trained crew and EPIRB. The boat also has a toilet and a bed and is wheelchair accessible which is a huge plus.

Coastal Charters will take you offshore fishing in the rich waters of the Gulf of Mexico, where species such as Mahi Mahi, Blue and White Marlin, Tunas and Amberjacks can be found widely. You will also be targeting Wahoo, Mackerel, Cobia, Grouper, Jack Crevalle, Rainbow Runner and everyone’s favourite Red Snapper, depending on the seasonality. You will have snacks and water available onboard, as well as help from the first mate. Your trip will include rods, reels, tackle and bait in artificial and live form, and the crew will advise you on the best one to use depending on the targeted species.

This 8 hour trip with Captain Danny Dorman was, without a doubt, the most fun my family has had in a very long time. From start to finish Captain Dorman and his right-hand-man Jake were the best of professionals while making us feel like we were on the boat with long-time friends. Everything was perfect…and HOLY COW does this man know how to find the fish! He put us right on top of them every time. Double and triple hook-ups were normal. The boat was awesome too. Even though it was rough out, it was a very smooth ride. We will be going back with Captain Dorman as soon as we possibly can. It was a fishing trip of a lifetime!

John Harrison’s group is going back to Kansas with some sore arms and a lot of fish. They boxed 14 Kingfish, 6 Cudas, 4 Atlantic Sharpnose sharks and caught and released a nice 6 foot Sandbar Shark. Way to go guys and Nana.

Captain Dorman of Costal Charters in one word is awesome.  He had me on the fish in no time and we made stops on our way back to do some site fishing.  He even apologized for extending the trip which resulted in bringing in some great catches.  While I had hoped to catch a dolphin fish I ended up catching 6 species!  Just means I’ll have to return for another trip with Dan the Man!  Thanks for making my first trip on the Gulf one of my top 5 ever of chartering a boat for fishing.

Edmund picked a beautiful day to go offshore. He was a lone solider but that didn’t stop him from putting fish after fish on the deck. He put a limit of Kings Atlantic Sharp nose shark and a NICE Triple Tail in the box, as well as releasing Amber Jacks, Night Shark, and Snappers. Great day fishing with a GREAT GUY!
