Anglers Choice Fishing Safaris

Stokes Hill Road
Darwin City NT, Australia

Situated in the productive Darwin harbour, Anglers Choice Fishing Safaris offers enjoyable reef and sport fishing charters for all the family. They offer inshore, nearshore and offshore fishing adventures.

Your trip will be spent aboard a spacious and mobile 7.7m sport fishing boat with all standard safety features. The boat is well-equipped and has plenty of room to move around as you tackle your exciting catch. Additionally, there is plenty of opportunity to relax after fighting a heavy fish because of the comfortable seating under a sizeable shade-canopy.

There is a plethora of species in the area, and Anglers Choice Fishing Safaris brings you the expertise necessary for a successful fishing trip. As both bluewater and reef fishing trips are available, you’ll be able to choose between targeting pelagic species such as Longtail Tuna, Spanish Mackerel and Sailfish, or bottom dwellers such as Red Emperor, Coral Trout, Pink Snapper and Black Jewfish. You will use light or heavy tackle, depending on the species targeted, and you can even challenge yourself by trying out some handline fishing.

If you want to have the full experience, you can stay over in the Anglers Choice Beach House and enjoy an extended fishing charter. Up to twelve guests can stay in the Beach House, which is located right on the beach in Dundee Beach, close to Darwin.

Emma Cartwright is the heart and soul of the company. She enjoys her Barramundi fishing and has Kakadu floodwater in her blood. The rest of the team consists of skippers Dave Rinkin, Braden Gibbins, and Crissi. Dave enjoys light tackle jigging and using poppers, while Bob is just mad keen to catch anything anytime. Enthusiastic anglers with a wealth of local knowledge, the crew loves nothing more than exceeding their clients' expectations. Just remember it’s a long drive from Darwin to the boat 200km there and the same back.
