You’ll be exploring Islamorada and its surrounding areas with Captain Zach Jones, a flats fishing enthusiast who has been casting lines since he was small. He loves putting people on fish and is eager to help all anglers reel ‘em in. In addition, he’ll pick you up from local accommodations before your trip, or may even bring his boat to you! You can fish with him anywhere from Key Largo to Islamorada, hooking fish to your heart’s content.
Step aboard your captain’s 18’ Beavertail skiff, powered by a 90 HP Mercury engine. Enhanced with a wireless trolling motor and sleek design, this boat glides seamlessly through shallow waters as you chase the shadows of Bonefish and other iconic species along the flats. Three anglers can fish comfortably aboard this skiff, and children of all ages are welcome, so make this a family adventure to remember.
Capt. Zach offers up a variety of angling opportunities aboard his boat. You can try poling the flats for Permit, Bonefish, and Tarpon when the season allows, or adventure through the Everglades for Snook, Redfish, and whatever else is biting. Either way, Capt. Zach promises: “You’re going to have a great time!”
Your trip includes a Florida fishing license and all the gear you need. Choose from a selection of rods and reels featuring names that professional anglers know and love: Shimano, Penn, and World Wide Sportsman. You’ll also have superior fly fishing equipment at your disposal, including G Loomis and ECHO fly rods, Abel reels, and flies hand-tied by Capt. Zach himself. He’ll clean and fillet your catch for you, too.

Fantastic trip
Zach was amazing we targeted numerous species and did several types of fishing including drift fishing and topwater. He certainly didn't just camp on a spot where there was no bite we kept moving and followed and found the fish! I highly recommend booking with him it was a great trip on the water!

Awesome Trip with Captain Zack
We started fish for Tarpon, caught a few hammer heads right away then a Jack. Moved to a different spot and not n stop Mutton Snapper action while soaking a few Tarpon lines then BOOM!. Big fish on and this fish would not come up from the bottom no matter what. We chased and fought this fish for 3+ hours and 2+ miles. Monster Sawfish finally won the fight. What a great trip and such great memories were made. Zack will do his best to put you on the fish. This guy is top notch. We will be back! Thanks again Zack, keep up the great work and stay safe out there.

Awesome day of fishing with Captain Zach
Spending the day fishing with Zach was a blast- the highlight of my trip to Islamorada. He presented options on what to fish, and I chose to target Snook rather than fishing top water for Barracuda, which I'll be back to do. This was my first ever guided fishing tour- I grew up fishing but haven't in years and I was nervous, but I'm so glad I booked a day with Zach at Zoned In. He was extremely dedicated to making sure I achieved what I set out to do- catch some fish! I felt extremely comfortable- He knew all of the best spots and what to use. I could tell from the locals' interaction that he is a well-liked and respected Captain. Whether it's your first time fishing, you're a seasoned pro, or somewhere inbetween- you won't regret booking a day of fishing with Zach. Now I can't wait to come back for Tarpon!

Targeted species: tarpon and permit Tarpon: Weather didn’t really corporate with us for tarpon fishing. Zach pulled out all the stops to try to lure them despite strong winds. Permit: Arrived on location a little early due to stubborn tarpon but the permit showed up on time with tide change. Had a fun time and made some great memories.
