WhipaSnapa Charters (est. 2000) invites you on a fishing adventure out of Biloxi, Mississippi. Your captain has the skills and knowledge needed to make your trip successful.
On the inshore trips, we offer 4 or 6-hour trips, and all trips are available for 1-6 people. You will fish the Biloxi Back Bay and surrounding areas. These are some of the most abundant fishing grounds in the US. Winter fishing from November through March consists of Redfish, Speckled Trout, Flounder, Sheephead, and Black drum. All these are very good eating fish, and a blast to catch. Around March many other species come into the area and spend the entire summer here: White trout, Ground mullet, Triple tail, and others. If you take a 6-hour combo trip (around March) we will start nearshore for a couple of hours and then make the 15-20 min boat ride out to the Barrier Islands where Sharks, Bull reds, Cobia (lemon fish), King and Spanish Mackeral, and many other big fish hang around this area till the fall.
You will fish aboard the Whipasnapa - a 29-foot Sea Hunt open fisherman powered by twin 250 Yamaha outboards. The boat is fast and safe and can comfortably accommodate up to 6 passengers who will enjoy plenty of shade, a restroom, and lots of space. The vessel features all the USCG-approved safety gear, and fish-finding needs to locate the best fishing spots. WhipaSnapa Charters provides all you need for a successful trip, and that includes rods, reels, tackle, live and artificial baits, and a fishing license. Captain Earl can clean and fillet your catch at the end of the trip for an extra fee. All you need to bring is some food and drinks for the day, and enjoy yourself and the fishing experience!

Today was a tough day in the water… Following a few days of storms that passed thru prior to our trip, the water turned murky and the bite was slow… But hey, that’s why they call it fishing and not catching… Captain Earl had everything we needed for a great day on the water, a bathroom, extensive knowledge, and even a few bad Dad Jokes… And even as tough as the bite was, we still caught some fish… If you’re headed to the Mississippi Gulf Coast and wanna do some fishing, I’d strongly recommend looking up Capt. Earl and WhipaSnapa Charters…!!!

Captain Earl really knew the waters. He was polite, respectful and EXCELLENT in interacting with my 9-year-old daughter. He was very patient and we caught quite a few fish. We caught flounder, redfish, black drum, speckled trout, two or three species of saltwater catfish and crocker. There might have been more I don't remember. We even saw some crabs that clung to our baits before they bailed close to the boat. He has brand new dual 300 hp Yamahas on his boat which is a little older and shows its age, but he's not afraid to risk a few scratches to put clients on fish. He continued to educate us on preparing and cooking the different fish as he cleaned them. I would highly recommend Captain Earl for inshore and nearshore fishing.

Captain put us on fish immediately and it really never stopped. I’ve do a a lot of charters and I can honestly say this was the most rod in hand experience I think I have ever done. Caught loads of fish and definitely earned the pay!

Captain Earl/Robert is a great captain. Knowledgeable and very kind. Right from the start he genuinely wanted us to have a good time catching fish and we did! 5/5 stars! When we come back, we will be booking with him again.

My dad and I booked a 4 hour trip. We brought home, a speckled trout, black drum, a 20 pound red fish, and lots of sheepshead! He fileted them up when we got back and bagged them. He knew the spots to go to for sure. I have had charters that days 5 hour trip but they include fish cleaning time in that etc. This was a true 4 hours fishing on the water. No complaints here.
