Slow day with only two Bonito and a hit from what appeared to be a yellowtail, still a really good day. Weather was great and the crew was great. The four of us really enjoyed ourselves.

Half Day Trip (AM) on January 24, 2020

This trip was a waste of time and money. I ask the captain in advance if we could bottom fish or jig fish for any fish available but he said he would give me the best fishing available in Tahiti. We trolled the entire time and didn’t even get one hit. I am a fisherman and want to have some experience of fishing but this day was nothing but a hot expensive boat ride. I know that some days are not productive on big game fish but I asked in advance about catching something- anything. I am embarrassed that I talked a friend into going with me. A waste of a precious day in Tahiti during my very limited stay. Very disappointed.

Richard you are very bad times. You asked us to use the type of fishing that would allow us to have the best result. so I actually chose to use the troll because the water was green in places where it was possible to go bottom fishing so no chance of result. so we dragged a long distance where we found two hunts. These did not allow us to catch anything, but we tried everything. it seems to me that during our whole trip you did not meet anyone fishing at the bottom ... it may be for a good reason .. I think that if you judge a fishing trip just by its catch (just half a day ) you are very far from the truth. I'm sorry if you are disappointed but you are the first person disappointed in 5 years.
