Noreaster Sport Fishing is based in Marathon, Florida. The company is run and operated by Captain Nick, who knows where the fish are hiding. If you are a serious offshore angler or just a beginner who wants to wet a line, Noreaster Sport Fishing has something to offer for everyone.

Join Noreaster Sport Fishing aboard a spacious 35-foot boat, which comes powered by twin 300 HP Suzuki engines. Originally built in 1997, it was restored in 2016 and has a maximum cruising speed of 25 knots. The vessel’s navigational electronics include a Furuno radar, a VHF radio, and brand-new Garmin fish finder and a GPS. There is a windlass, an ice-box, downriggers, and a live bait tank, as well as Tuna tubes. The boat is wheelchair accessible and features an enclosed private toilet, a stand-up shower, freshwater faucets, and a V-Berth bed. Up to six anglers are welcome on board.

Noreaster Sport Fishing offers a variety of trips to choose from, depending on your preferences and how much time you intend to spend on the water. Go fishing inshore, nearshore, the reef, and wreck, or head further offshore for some bigger action. The Captain and his crew know which fishing techniques work best in the local waters, from light and heavy tackle to bottom fishing, trolling, jigging, spinning, drift fishing, and kite fishing. Among the targeted species, you may have Mahi Mahi, Amberjack, Wahoo, Sailfish, King Mackerel, Jack Crevalle, Permit, Cobia, Grouper, Blackfin Tuna, Great Barracuda, and many more. For those passionate anglers who want to dedicate their fishing adventure to chasing Swordfish, Noreaster Sport Fishing offers a special ten-hour trip.

Your trip with Noreaster Sport Fishing will include your fishing licenses, as well as rods, reels, tackle, lures, and live bait. Apart from that, your catch will be cleaned and filleted for you to take home after your fishing adventure.

Half day reef/ wreck on October 4, 2024

We had a great day out on the water. It was a family trip with our four kids aged 6-12. The captain and first mate were great and kept us on the fish all day. They were very patient and accommodating. Would recommend anyone to book with this crew. Can’t wait to come back.

Nick and his crew are great. They get on fish and then move to a better spot. We kept catching bigger and bigger fish. We caught good size yellow tail snapper in the morning, then a 33” Mutton Snapper in the afternoon, and ended the with a 48” inch Amberjack. What a great day! My family had a great time catching fish all day. Thank you Captain Nick.

Fantastic full day off-shore trip!

Full Day Offshore on November 22, 2023

We had a phenomenal day of fishing with Captain Nick and Chris. He had the Midas touch. Everything we tried paid off. Tuna on the humps, deep dropping for AJ's, chasing Mahi on the grass line. They worked hard and had all the gear rigged and ready at moments notice when we needed to pivot and target something else. Fresh tuna sashimi on the dock while Captain Nick cleaned our fish was some of the best I've ever had. Couldn't recommend more highly. We will certainly be back!

I grew up commercial fishing off cape cod for giant bluefin tuna and striped bass. I started visiting the keys as child and instantly fell in love. In 2005 I gave up my career as a high school science teacher and moved to marathon to begin building my charter business, and have never looked back!
