The Hook Fishing & Accommodation runs offshore adventures targeting huge pelagics in the clear blue waters of Guatemala. Heading out of Puerto Quetzal, you will find yourself fishing in Billfish heaven, with some of the biggest and most abundant Sailfish found anywhere on the planet.
You will be fishing aboard a 31’ Bertram boat with room aboard for up to 5 guests. It is powered by twin 315 HP Yanmar engines up to a cruising speed of 26 knots. It comes rigged to the gills the all the makers of a record-breaking trip, including a fighting chair, GPS, outriggers, and high-quality fishing equipment for a selection of techniques. The vessel also features a toilet for extra convenience while on board.
The crew specializes in fly fishing and light and heavy trolling for big game pelagics, with a particular focus on landing huge Sailfish. This is a sport which they take very seriously, so unlike many charters in the area, the captain of The Hook operates a strict catch and release policy on all Billfish, out of respect for the fish and the ocean.
For the ultimate chance at landing a trophy specimen, you can book your group into a multi-day marathon of 3 solid days of fishing, plus 4 nights in their own comfortable lodgings, with food, drinks and everything you need rolled into one amazing package!
What are you waiting for? Your new adventure awaits, so join The Hook Fishing & Accommodation and have some fun!
