Reel Thang Charters OBX offers light tackle fishing trips on the Outer Banks and Oregon Inlet of North Carolina. The waters in and around Pamlico Sound are home to some of the nicest species around. The charter is located at Wanchese Marina, 4457 Mill Landing road.

The captain will take you out aboard a 27’ Parker center console boat. This beauty comes powered by twin 200 Suzki engines and has a maximum cruising speed of 35 knots. Perfect for accommodating up to 6 guests, the vessel is rigged with modern navigational electronics, safety equipment, and a live bait tank.

The season begins in mid-April and runs till October. Fishing the Outer Banks in summer is an exciting opportunity to catch Redfish, Bass, Speckled Trout, Seatrout, Black Drum, Bluefish, Flounder, and Cobia.

When relaxing in between the bites, you will get an opportunity to take in the beautiful scenery of North Carolina. Kids are also welcome to join the adventure. There is nothing like seeing a smile on a child’s face after that very first catch!

For your fishing trip, you will be provided with first-class light tackle, gear, bait, lures, and fishing licenses. If you decide to keep the catch, it will be cleaned and filleted for you at the end of the trip, ready to go home and jump straight into the frying pan.
