This family-owned company works hard to make sure you have the time of your life aboard their clean, seaworthy vessel. On your day out, you will get a chance to catch and keep your limit on whatever is in the season and release what is not. Sounds good? Look no further!
Enjoy your ride with Capt Ellis Charters aboard a spacious 53-ft “Capt. Ellis” She comes powered by twin 420 HP Caterpillar engines and has a maximum cruising speed of 12 knots. Capt. Ellis is fully rigged with navigational electronics, which include a GPS, a VHF radio, a fish finder, and a radar. A flybridge is fitted to aid the search for the fish, an anchoring system helps to make sure you stay rooted to the fishing ground, and an ice-box keeps the catch fresh during the day. Inside, Capt. Ellis is air-conditioned and features a toilet, a kitchen, and beds for you to relax in between the bites. There is enough space for up to 15 anglers to fish in comfort.
The Capt. Ellis holds a Federal Permit, which allows the crew to fish beyond the State waters. Whether you want to spend four hours trolling for King Mackerel, Spanish Mackerel, Bonito, Sailfish, and Mahi Mahi, or bottom fish for Black Grouper, Gag Grouper, Gag Grouper, Amberjack, Vermillion Snapper, White Snapper, and Red Snapper – Capt. Ellis Charters will accommodate all your needs. You can choose to travel up to 50 miles offshore for some big action or cruise the waters in and around the marina.
A fishing trip with Capt. Ellis Charters comes inclusive with the licenses, rods, reels, and tackle, as well as live and dead bait and lures. If you decide to keep the catch, there is a cleaning and packaging service available at the marina. Feel free to bring your own drinks and food with you.

4 Hour Trip - Trolling PM Summer
An oldy but a goody
Captain Shawn and Nav was outstanding. At first we didn’t catch any fish, so captain shawn moved us until they started biting. He took us to one spot that as soon as your line hit the bottom, you had a bite!!! Only thing we didn’t like is that the boat had a manual toilet.

Great Intro Trip!
I took my siblings, nieces, and nephews out on a 4-hour trip. I fish a lot in the Pacific, and they all wanted to come, but had never been out before. We spent a good day out on the water, got some good drop fishing done, and the captains were great at keeping us baited, explaining the different fish species we caught, and how fishing works in the Gulf. The AC kept the cabin cool for those tired, and there was plenty of room on the deck!

Great trip!
We fish with Captain Seth every year we come to PCB. 5 years in a row and great trips everytime. Shoutout to deckhand Shawn who does and excellent job of making sure you're baited up and getting the fish off you reel in. I highly recommend Capt Ellis Charters.
