Captain Mike operated a 35-foot 35 Dawson express cruiser powered by two 315 HP Cummins 5.9 engines, with a maximum cruising speed of 25 knots. They make this boat fast and powerful, so you don’t waste any time. You will enjoy the ride out to the offshore waters on comfortable cushioned seating available on the boat. It has plenty of shade provided by the tower and a toilet for your convenience.

Cowboy Charter’s crew is conscious of the fuel burn and will work hard to put you on the fish of your choice. You will leave the dock at dawn and return late in the afternoon. Your fishing adventure can take you to the nearshore waters where fishing depends on the seasons. Your targeted species in the nearshore waters will include King Mackerel, Blacktip Shark, Bull Shark, Cobia, and Redfish.

If you decide to head offshore, you can target Red Snapper, Wahoo, Mahi Mahi, huge Cobia, Amberjack, and Grouper. These species are available in the reefs and offshore waters year round, and so the offshore trips are always the most productive.

Cowboy Charters’ full day offshore trips are at a plus fuel rate which you will pay based upon fuel consumption for your trip depending on how far out you go.
