Best Catch Fishing Charters invites you on a true deep sea fishing adventure you will talk about for years to come. You can travel even more than 100 miles offshore into the real deep blue waters that hide the huge reef fish everyone wants to catch but only a few have the chance of targeting!
The charter is located in Englewood, Florida and provides a first class fishing service along with an outstanding customer service. With a federally permitted boat for both pelagic and reef fish in the Gulf of Mexico, Best Catch Fishing Charters are legally allowed to take up to 6 passengers outside of 9 nautical miles and into the federal waters.
The federal offshore waters are where the majority of bigger fish species can be found in abundance. You can target Red Snapper, Black Grouper, Cobia, Amberjack, Jack (African Pompano), Gag Grouper, Red Grouper, Wahoo and Blackfin Tuna in huge depths and more than 100 miles offshore.
If you want to stay within the 9 miles for some nearshore fishing, you can target Mangrove Snapper, Lane Snapper, King Mackerel, Barracuda, and smaller Groupers, too.
Best Catch is a 35' Parker Pilothouse offshore sport fishing boat, originally built in 2007. It is powered by 2023 twin 300 HP Suzuki Four stroke engines that give it great speed and stability on the water. It features a private area for portable toilet use which is a huge plus on offshore trips, a bed, a flybridge, and all the safety & electronic equipment needed for a successful trip. Ipilot auto-deploy spotlock trolling motor fast anchor.
You will be offered charters of 4, 6, 8, 10 & 12 hours, as well as custom overnight trips. You even have the option to fish both nearshore & deep-sea offshore waters all on the same trip, so it's really just up to you and how much time you can dedicate to the best sport for fishermen.

Took my three boys 14, 11, and 9 and had a blast. Captain Dan definitely new his stuff as well as first mate who stayed busy the whole time. Very welcoming and laid back captain and crew who went to work when it was time to catch the fish. Brought in lots of Lane Snapper, 3 nice Grouper, and a real fun Barracuda for my 14 year old to haul in. If I am ever in the Sarasota area again I will definitely look up Beat Catch charters. This was a wonderful experience and well worth every bit of it!!!

Only negatives were a late start and the boat had not been prepped from the previous day. New First Mate worked hard but when it came to securing knives and attention to detail he needed work, but pretty good for a newbie. I would definitely recommend Daniel for a trip.
