Enjoy your trip with Capt Eric Olsen aboard a 22-foot Mako center console, which comes powered by a 200 HP Evinrude E-TEC engine. The vessel provides comfortable fishing space for up to three anglers and is equipped with top-notch navigational electronics, which include a GPS, a VHF radio, a fish finder, a radar, and an autopilot. The boat is fitted with an anchoring system to make sure it stays rooted to the fishing grounds, an ice-box to keep the catch fresh during the day, Lee outriggers, 2-Pen downriggers, and a live bait tank.
Capt Eric Olsen will accommodate all your fishing needs. Whether you want to see what is biting close to the shore, or go a bit further offshore or fish the reefs and the wrecks – your trip will be an eventful and productive experience on the water. The Captain is very familiar with the methods that work best for the local waters, which include light and heavy tackle, bottom fishing, drift fishing, fly fishing, trolling, spinning, jigging, and popping.
The species you will be targeted include Amberjack, Redfish, Cobia, King Mackerel, Sailfish, Bluefish, Wahoo, Mahi Mahi, Jack Crevalle, Little Tunny, Snook, Barracuda… and the list just keeps going!
A trip with Capt Eric Olsen comes inclusive with all the necessary equipment to make a great possible. You will be provided with rods, reels, tackle, lures, and live bait, as well as the fishing licenses for you and your group. If you decide to keep the catch, it will be cleaned and filleted for you at the end of the trip for you to take home for dinner later. You will be offered drinks during the day, so feel free to bring your own snacks if you want.
