We specialize in nearshore reef fishing 3-8 miles offshore for a variety of fish including snapper, grouper, key west grunts, porgies, hogfish, spanish mackerel, king mackerel, little tunny tuna, sharks and barracudas. We also specialize in fishing Tampa Bay for snook, seatrout, spanish mackerel, sharks, and jacks. We love to show kids and families the great fishing we have off of Anna Maria Island!
Your vessel for the day is 28’ WhiteWater center console, custom-built by famous boat builder Norm Collins. This fishing machine can comfortably accommodate up to 4 anglers and is powered by a 300 HP Yamaha engine with a maximum cruising speed of 46 knots.
She features a full walk-around casting platform and comes equipped with the latest navigational electronics including GPS and Fishfinder. There’s also an anchoring system to help you stay rooted, an ice-box to keep your catch fresh, 3 live wells, and a full T-top for some welcome shade.
Your trip comes inclusive with all the necessary equipment to make an outstanding catch possible. That includes rods, reels, tackle, lures, and live bait. Any catch you choose will be cleaned and filleted for you at the end of the trip. Bring along any drinks and snacks you’d like to enjoy and you’re ready to go!

This was the second fishing trip for me and my friends with captain Tony. We all had a great time and caught a lot of fish. One of my friends Steve is not a fisherman but he came with us and had a great time. he said he looks forward to coming with us again on the next trip. Thanks again captain Tony. 1/2 Day AM Fishing Trip on April 30, 2025
Out with Capt Tony this morning, he was able to put us on a great bite. Fish exploding out of the water everywhere. Would recommend to anyone. We caught, Catfish Trout Spanish mackerel Snook Ladyfish Jacks Grouper And payed taxes to the sharks several times while catching fish, a great time

1/2 Day AM Fishing Trip on July 5, 2024
Captain Tony was amazing. There were five us off with only 4 fishing and we all caught a ton of fish. Tony clearly knows the water - we all caught more fish in one day than we have in each of our entire lifetimes. Tony was moving the whole time re-baiting us, taking off fish, and moving the boat to get us to a fishier spot. He threw a few lines in when he spotted some Spanish Mackerel and kept his eye on the birds to catch another passing school. We pulled in a ton of Grey Snapper, Red Grouper (not in season), a puffer fish, and Spanish Mackerel. We came home with about 5-10 lbs of fish and are making fish tacos tonight. Highly recommend going in the morning before it gets too hot. Overall, it was an amazing trip. We would absolutely go again with Tony.

I have been on charters all over the place and Tony was one of the best if not the best! We caught 60 plus fish and then he took us shark fishing at the beach end. If I am back out this way I won’t hesitate to fish with him. Not once did we waste time once the bite slowed.

Captain Tony Zain first started fishing with his grandpa in Northern Michigan at the age of 5. He started his first guide business at the age of 18 fishing for smallmouth bass and walleye on Lake St. Clair in Michigan. After Michigan Captain Tony moved to San Diego, CA to begin learning how to fish the Pacific Ocean for Tuna. He began another successful guide business fishing for all 5 species of Pacific Tuna from San Diego down to Mexico. In 2013, Captain Tony moved to Anna Maria Island in pursuit of all of the wonderful fish that Tampa Bay and the Gulf had to offer. Captain Tony has become one of the most sought after fishing guides in the Anna Maria area specializing in light tackle reef and inshore fishing in his 28 ft custom built center console. He loves to take kids and families fishing and show them the beauty of the Gulf of Mexico and Tampa Bay.
