Bushwacker Charters Muskie Fishing
Bushwacker Charters offers fishing trips for Musky on Lake St. Clair out of Detroit, Michigan. Captain Steve has been a real threat to Muskie for over 25 years, and he catches from 5 to 15 Muskies per trip. Fishing on Lake St. Clair can be challenging even for an experienced angler, so if you are up to a challenge of fighting the big fish, welcome aboard!
Enjoy your trip aboard a Coast Guard and DNR-inspected 27-foot Tiara boat, which comes powered by twin 350 HP Crusader engines. With enough space for up to five guests to fish in comfort, this fishing machine is ideal for the local waters. It is equipped with modern navigational electronics, safety equipment, a live bait tank, and downriggers for a professional trolling experience. It also features a stand-up toilet and a cabin. Your catch will stay fresh in the ice-box, and you’ll also find a refrigerator on board.
Fishing more Muskie is an exciting experience for anglers of all skill levels, even for a professional fisherman. Captain Steve primarily troll for the tough fighters with planer boards and wash rods. For those of you who are not familiar with the technique, it was originally used on the waters of Lake St. Clair and involves speed trolling with heavy tackle. If you want to butt heads with a big Muskie like a pro, the lake’s waters are the best place to do it: they have become renowned all across North America as the leading producers of quality Muskie.
All trips come with rods, reels, tackle, lures, and bait. Captain Steve will send your catch home cleaned and filleted. You only need to bring your own food, drinks, and licenses. The season begins at first weekend of June and runs through December.

Hard working guys
Muskies eat when they want and not any time sooner. It was a hot day where plenty of other boats were getting skunked all day but our crew kept at it. They never slowed down or gave up. We ended up hooking my youngest, who wrestled in a 39 inch tiger musky. Now she can't wait to go fishing again.
