If you're traveling with the family, you will be glad to know that kids, as well as first responders and military veterans, are welcome aboard! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. You can't go wrong with snacks to maintain your energy throughout the trip, bottled water is available on board at no charge!
You'll be fishing aboard a 24' Alumaweld aluminum fishing boat that can carry up to 6 anglers plus crew. It has downriggers and everything you need for a productive day on the water. There's a portable flushable toilet on board for your convenience.
You'll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, along with lures. Live bait is included for certain types of fishing trips. Such as live minnows for drifting bait for Stripers.
You might need to purchase a local fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species may be off limits or require a special tag, so make sure you know what to expect.
You can't go wrong when you bring sunscreen and sunglasses. There will be some drinks on offer, but let the captain know if you wish to bring your own. Alcohol is not allowed.

Full Day – Trout (Shared)
Best Trout Fishing Day!
I took my 2 and 4 year old kids, my wife, a coworker and his 4 and 8 year old daughters—and we fished Collins Lake for the 2nd annual GOAF (GetOutAndFish) kids derby. By absolute luck, the winners of raffle for a boat day with Team MC Fishing, weren’t able to join. So Matt with GOAF and Doug, Captain of Team MC Fishing, offered to let us take their place. This was top 5 best fishing trips of my life. Seeing the kids faces light up as each one of them caught fish. Cap. Doug (and his deckhand David) provided the absolute best kids fishing trip. They were not only patient, but encouraged learning while the kids messed with gear, touched screens and asked a million questions. If you are looking for a genuine good hearted guide, that will ALSO put you on fish and keep you laughing and enjoying your day, THIS IS YOUR GUIDE TO HOOK UP WITH! Not to mention, his boat is so nice and even has a heater!

Trout Trip With Team Mc Fishing
Went fishing with Team Mc Fishing . He got us on a good amount of fish not only that but he was teaching us how to catch fish to. Had a blast hooking up on a bunch of fish and hanging out with him on the boat. Capt. Doug is very knowledgeable in fishing and if yall haven't booked a fishing trip with him I would highly recommend it. Go check him out 😃😃!!
