Fish On Fire Charters invites you on a fishing adventure of a lifetime on the beautiful waters of Venice, Florida. We will primarily be fishing the nearshire reefs of tHe Gulf of Mexico if weather permits. If you would rather stay inshore, I reconend Sarasota Bay and a short distance North. Please notify me if you prefer fishing inshore.

Captain Marc is a Florida native who is as passionate today as the first time he held a fishing rod 40 years ago. He will work hard to ensure you have an enjoyable day on the water whether you are a seasoned fisherman or a beginner. You will have a relaxed and patient Captain by your side, and an informative day on the water.

On inshore trips, you'll fish for species such as Snook, Redfish Trout, Flounder, Mangrove Snapper, Pompano, Jack Crevalle, Spanish Mackerel, and more. Then there is Silver King. The prehistoric fish that puts up an unforgettable fight and tests your mental and physical abilities.

When it comes to nearshore trips, expect to go as far as 9 miles out during a full day trip. You will mainly be fishing for the likes of Snapper, Grouper, Kingfish, Cobia, Tripletail, and others. Marc is happy to give you a hand whether you're looking to do some bottom fishing for delicious Snapper or maybe trolling for game fish.

Captain Marc will take you out on his Pathfinder 25' Hybrid bay boat powered by a 300 HP Yamaha engine. This powerful beauty will get you out and back in without wasting your time. It is a fast and secure boat with comfortable seating that contains all the USCG-approved safety gear and navigational equipment.

Fish On Fire Charters will provide you with the fishing gear and will talk to you prior to your trip in order to customize it to your desires, skill level, and what you want to catch.

Great Fishing Experience
4 Hour Trip (AM) on February 21, 20263 adults

I took my two boys, 8 & 4, out with Captain Marc and we had a great experience. We went to a number of different spots and caught a variety of species of fish. The style fishing was pretty straight forward; great for beginners and experts alike. Captain Marc filleted our catch after the trip, and we took home quite a few red snapper, sheepshead, and grunts. Great day on the water! We even got to enjoy a pod of dolphins right around the boat. Would recommend to others.

Sheepshead

Great day on the water
6 hour Trip (AM) on March 12, 20262 adults

Captain Mark provided us with a wonderful day on the water. He was proactive with reaching out the evening before to discuss any weather concerns and preferences. Sent us a pin to send us directly to the dock. Most importantly, got us on the fish. He was knowledgeable with the area and successful fishing spots, and kindly shared tips and tricks for better success in hooking up. We had a successful day, and highly recommend booking with Captain Mark!

Fantastic day!
4 Hour Trip (AM) on November 25, 20252 adults1 child

Captain Marc was easy to book and find. He worked very hard to make our fishing outing very memorable! We caught many different fish (snook, grouper, mackerel, hog fish, pin fish, sea bass and grunt). He helped us snag a King Mackerel for the finale. We had ages 10-82 and already booked with him again for our winter trip. Captain Marc took care of us and did everything including bait our hooks and clean our fish. He was extremely patient with all including our son who has looked forward to this outing for months. His boat and equipment were well organized and immaculate. Looking forward to our December outing with Captain Marc.

Fantastic teamwork
4 Hour Trip (AM) on April 14, 20263 adults

Small issue. Capt Marc cancelled our trip because of a misunderstanding. But his bait shop was at access and they worked it out between them. It was a blast with Capt Joe and skipper Sue. Capt Marc I think if we have time this week I would like to come with you. Do you have any openings any days up to Saturday . Thank you Venice reef charters
