Strange Magic Fishing Charters invites you to experience the finest fishing available on the Grand Strand, South Carolina. They offer inshore and inlet jetty fishing trips that will fulfill all your shallow water dreams. The charter operates out of Little River and into the waters of Myrtle Beach, and all the way to southern South Carolina.
Captain Bob will take you out on his 22-foot Pathfinder center console originally built in 2013. Powered by a 200 HP Yamaha High-Performance engine, with a maximum cruising speed of 45 knots, this boat slices through anything. It is fully equipped with electronics such as a GPS and a fishfinder, as well as all the USCG approved safety equipment.
Strange Magic Fishing Charters can take you fishing for Redfish, Flounder, and Speckled Trout on an inshore fishing trip. Alternatively, you can fish the inlet jetties for a wide variety of fish such as Black Drum, Bluefish, and Spanish Mackerel. Strange Magic is owned and operated by Captain Bob Strange who has been a passionate fisherman his whole life.
You will be supplied licenses, rods, reels, and baits, as well as bottled water and plenty of ice. You are welcome to bring along your own beverages and snacks. This charter is suitable for expert anglers as well as beginners.

Awesome Captain!
Very friendly, informative, prepared and knowledgeable. He did a great job adapting to the hot water and outrunning rainstorms/waterspouts so we could continue fishing. Keep us on fish all morning using several different techniques and bait. Very helpful on what and when to do things. Made the trip very fun and stress-free. Lots of laughter, music and some fish. Will definitely recommend to others to use as their Captain.

Half Day Trip
Half day with Captain Bob
We met Captain Bob at the marina at 8 am. The marina was very nice, clean and quiet. It was a pleasure meeting Captain Bob and being a guest of his on his boat. My sister and I had never done any type of professional fishing and we both now feel like we can enter any kind of professional fishing contest and win! 🙂. Captain Bob was very pleasant, kind, and extremely knowledgeable; not just about fishing but about the rules on the water, local history, and local areas and where to go for certain fish. He made us feel extremely welcome and was very patient with two newcomers. His choice of music was top-notch. You can't be classic vinyl on XM Satellite Radio. He took all sorts of pictures of us throughout the trip and took a picture of us with every single fish that we caught. We will definitely fish with him again. It was such a fabulous time and we completely enjoyed ourselves.

Strange charters
Was a great trip with Captain Bob. We caught some flounder and tried to catch oter fish with different techniques and live bait. Hung a few but didn't get them in. Overall it was a great and beautiful day out on the water.

Definitely recommend Captain Bob. What a really nice guy! My cousin, his son and I went and had a great time. Took time to get to know us and what we were interested in. Pointed out lots of great sites along the way- eagles, osprey, etc. knows what he is doing and works hard to find fish. Took time to teach us a few different techniques and we all caught some nice flounder. Even took pics for us and sent after trip. Very confident you will have a nice day with this Captain!
